Finally...

finally a time to jot a few words. Basketball season is over- Hallelujah. It was a lot of fun to coach together as husband/wife, but we also faced many hard times during the season. Although, we are thankful for the lessons. We recognize it is preparing us for future ministry. Our school has been under such attack. The power of satan's hold is sadly so evident.
Things have been going much better these last couple weeks, for which we are thankful.
Thank you for the many of you who have prayed for me and my family since my dad's death to alcoholism. God has graciously granted peace to my heart. Everything happened all at once and so fast, I felt as if I wouldn't be able to get relief, but my God is good. I could write a book about the things I have learned and all about God's goodness. He is so merciful to me. I was so concerned about my dad's salvation-I talked with a pastor at my dad's funeral and asked him what he knew of my dad's salvation. He told me that several months prior, my dad came to church with his new wife. (He was remarried in February) The pastor said he raised his hand for a decision, and later he went and spoke with my grandfather. He truly believed that my dad received Christ- my grandparents said they saw a change in his life. I am resting in this. God has given me hope that I will see my dad again. It's still so hard to believe he is gone- it still comes as a shock when I think about it. God's grace is more than enough! He's been so good to me.
Tim and I are doing great.... anxiously waiting for end of the school year! :) Kindergarten Graduation Program is what most of my time has been occupied with now (outside of just normal school responsibilities, of course) I have 9 weeks left until graduation. 10 weeks until High School Graduation.
The only other exciting thing that has happened to us recently is we have a new Nephew!!! :)
We hope to post pictures soon.
Thank you again - many of you- for praying and staying in touch. You are important to us!
