Well I have a whole new respect for Christian School teachers. I had no idea! I have been learning a lot and struggling through a lot. I have been amazed, humbled and in awe of God's abundant mercy on me each day. Wow! Every moment of each day has been a battle for me. Moment by moment surrender of my will to God. I hope to share more about what I have been learning at another time. It's a struggle to find time. we are at the school at least 12 hours a day. By the time we get home (around 7pm) I get dinner, etc and then get ready for the next day, etc - you know how it goes. Anyway- God is always good and I am trying to keep a spirit of rejoicing, though I am constantly failing.
Tim and I are doing absolutely great! I'm so grateful for such a wonderful, supportive husband. Life is very eventful-- always something :) We got to go to Myrtle Beach for a teacher's convention and that was awesome. I hope to put up pictures soon! Our room was on the 17th floor of a beachfront hotel. Each morning and night we got to walk the beach. It was awesome. We also got to enjoy the nearby aquarium during our free time from sessions. It was a nice break. Also eventful- long story short....God showed His protection very clearly to us on the way to the conference. We were following our administrator's car and in front of him was a semi carrying a large piece of equipment. As we were approaching an overpass, the semi did not make the clearance and 6 inches of the bridge came down. Nobody was hurt- Hallelujah. We got the second wind of it, so we don't have any damage really except for knicks in the windshield that will be replaced. The car in front of us got much more of the damage, but certainly not what it could have been. We really believe God sent His angels to take charge of the pieces of cement that were falling.
Soccer season is almost finished...then starts basketball. We are trusting God for extra strength, and wisdom.
Really must go for now- i hope to write more at another time. Sure do miss keeping in touch with all of you.
Much Love!
